On the other hand, the knowledge that this inane and humorless movie is only tone third of Bruce Cameron’s growing dog-iverse cuts more deeply than any dog bite. The mother has issues, takes young "CJ" away, and she is separated from her grandparents for many years. Eventually the dog play continuing roles in protecting CJ and enriching her life which includes reuniting her with her family.

A Dog's Courage is more than a fast-paced adventure, more than a devoted dog's struggle to survive, it's a story asking that we believe in our dogs as much as they believe in us. Yes, I don't mind if the film might include cliches or family friendly things that's 2019 does not need anymore, but I loved and enjoyed it with all my time. Many things hit home for me, made me laugh, and most of all, made me cry in sorrow for the characters but also cry in utter happiness. A truly heartwarming experience, and if you are searching for an amazing movie that you'll love and that's full of love of all sorts, human and dog, this is the right sequel for you.
